Straight Shooter Archery & Range is a newly renovated, full-service archery facility and pro shop located in the Haute City Center Mall in Terre Haute, Indiana. The expansive 5,425 square-foot facility features a 10-lane indoor archery range designed for shooters of all skill levels. The modern space includes ample parking to accommodate over 100 vehicles, making it easily accessible to the regional community.
The range serves as both a functional archery venue and a comprehensive retail destination. The facility maintains state-of-the-art equipment and tools for servicing archery gear, with four master-certified bow technicians on staff daily to handle setup and repairs for all makes and models of compound bows, crossbows, traditional bows, and recurve bows, regardless of where the equipment was originally purchased. The pro shop carries an extensive inventory of archery products, including bows, crossbows, arrows, bolts, broadheads, cases, quivers, sights, slings, silencers, stabilizers, and numerous accessories and components for customizing equipment.
Beyond archery, the facility also functions as an electric vehicle dealer and carries emergency preparedness supplies and food items. Straight Shooter offers archery equipment rentals for those without their own gear, making the range accessible to newcomers. The facility organizes indoor leagues and offers archery classes taught by four USA Archery Level 2 Certified Instructors. The comfortable customer lounge features large-screen televisions, complimentary high-speed internet, and complimentary hot coffee, creating a welcoming social environment for visitors.
All staff members have completed U.S. Center for Safe Sport Training and background screening through the National Center for Safety Initiatives, ensuring a safe and professional atmosphere. The facility is handicap accessible and operates seven days a week during peak seasons, or five days a week otherwise. Located less than 40 seconds south of I-70 on Exit 7, Straight Shooter is positioned one hour west of Indianapolis and three hours from Chicago, St. Louis, Cincinnati, and Louisville.
