The archery practice range measures 20 by 50 yards and remains open year-round during regular operating hours, providing consistent access for both beginners and experienced archers. The 3D archery range opened for seasonal use and offers a more dynamic shooting experience. As one of the largest public outdoor shooting complexes in the Southeastern United States, the Foothills complex operates within a natural outdoor setting that does not close for rain, ensuring that shooters always have access to practice their chosen discipline when the facility is open. The complex features comprehensive amenities to support all visitors, including trained range safety officers on every active range, outdoor pavilions with picnic tables and grills, public restrooms with handicapped access, and conveniently located parking with handicapped accessibility at each range.
