About

E.E. Wilson Archery Park is a comprehensive outdoor archery facility operated by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, located at 29555 Camp Adair Road in Monmouth, Oregon, approximately 10 miles north of Corvallis on the Willamette Valley floor. The park is situated within the larger E.E. Wilson Wildlife Area, a 1,788-acre preserve that has served the public since 1950.

The archery park operates from sunrise to sunset seven days a week and welcomes archers of all experience levels, from beginners to experts. The facility features targets ranging from 10 to 100 yards, providing varied shooting distances for different skill development and practice needs. The park includes a covered staging and shooting area that provides weather protection, an enclosed youth range designed specifically for younger archers, and three broadhead practice lanes for those wishing to practice with hunting equipment. An elevated shooting platform is also available for archers who bring their own safety harness. All archers must bring their own shooting equipment and provide their own targets when shooting broadheads.

The setting takes advantage of the natural Willamette Valley habitat within the wildlife area, offering archers access to diverse natural surroundings while they practice. The facility accommodates both recreational shooting and educational pursuits, as it is popular with instructors from nearby schools, colleges, and universities seeking an outdoor classroom environment for students.

Access to the archery park requires a Wildlife Area Parking Permit. For more information or to arrange educational group tours and reservations, visitors can contact the Wildlife Area Headquarters at (541) 745-5334.
