Buck Rub Outfitters, LTD is a comprehensive archery facility located in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, offering both indoor and outdoor shooting ranges along with a full-service pro shop. The 15,000-square-foot facility is conveniently situated just off Exit 290 on Interstate-94 at N13 W28400 Silvernail Rd.
The indoor 3D range features 32 shooting stations with 16 elevated positions, accommodating targets up to 40 yards away. The indoor facility creates a unique atmosphere enhanced by a waterfall and pond that simulate an outdoor environment while providing the comfort of climate-controlled indoor shooting. The outdoor 3D course is nestled along a babbling stream and offers 28 meticulously placed 3D targets that present diverse shooting scenarios. This course includes elevated platforms and ground blinds designed to mimic real-life hunting experiences. Additionally, the facility features a DART video system with over 500 real-life hunting scenarios, allowing archers to practice in simulated environments that enhance their skills.
Beyond traditional range shooting, Buck Rub Outfitters provides extensive services and amenities for archers of all skill levels. The facility houses a 2,000-square-foot loft dedicated to crossbows, and offers rental equipment for those new to archery or without personal gear. All ranges are open to the public without requiring a membership. The pro shop stocks an extensive selection of over 30 bow models in both left and right-handed configurations, allowing customers to try before they buy. The shop also carries bows, crossbows, accessories, and maintenance tools from leading brands.
The facility hosts multiple leagues and community events throughout the year. A winter 3D league runs from mid-January through the first week of April, while a youth archery program operates on Saturday mornings from January through March with no experience required and equipment available to rent. The facility welcomes families, offering half-price shooting for youth under 16 accompanied by an adult, and free shooting for mothers bringing three children.
